Jakarta, November 9, 2025 – Sarinah reaffirms its role as the home of Indonesian creativity and fashion through its participation in Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2026, held on November 6–9, 2025, at Kartika Expo Center, Balai Kartini, Jakarta.
This year, Sarinah proudly presents a fashion show titled “Nusantara Pulse”, a visual interpretation of the cultural rhythm that continues to breathe life into Indonesia’s fashion creativity.
In this showcase, Sarinah collaborates with six local brands such as Putroh Ramadhan, Riris Ghofir, Simplyveewee, Itang Yunasz, Purana, and Buttonscarves to present collections that blend the elegance of modest wear with cultural elements reimagined in a modern context. The interplay of textures, silhouettes, and colors creates a harmonious reflection of the spirit behind Nusantara Pulse: distinctive in character, deeply rooted in heritage, yet ever relevant over time.
Each brand delivered its own distinctive vision. The show opened with Itang Yunasz, presenting six looks featuring Sarah Sofyan as the muse. Simplyveewee followed with six soft-toned looks, while Purana showcased six tropical-inspired pieces with Annette Liana Dewi as the muse, evoking the spirit of Indonesia’s archipelago. Putroh Ramadhan then unveiled six contemporary looks worn by Euis Handayani, incorporating traditional South Sumatran fabrics. Riris Ghofir continued with five bold and elegant ensembles, before Buttonscarves closed the show with six signature monogram looks featuring Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri as the muse.
Raisha Syarfuan, President Director of PT Sarinah, emphasized that this initiative marks a meaningful step in expanding opportunities for creative industry players.
“Nusantara Pulse reflects the strength of Indonesia’s modest fashion identity. At JMFW 2026, our local designers have proven that their creations can resonate in the global market while staying true to the cultural essence that defines us. Sarinah remains committed to supporting this growth and empowering local brands to continue evolving, innovating, and competing,” said Raisha.
Beyond the runway, Sarinah also featured a booth showcasing a curated selection of leading local brands that embody Indonesia’s creativity, quality, and competitiveness. Among them were Purana, Itang Yunasz, Buttonscarves, and Putroh Ramadhan for ladieswear; Sarung BHS for menswear; Verites for fragrances; and Borneo Queen and Ellyhan for accessories.
Sarinah continues to strengthen its role as a Cultural Experience Center, bridging creativity, culture, and the potential of Indonesia’s creative economy. Sarinah’s participation in JMFW this year represents its ongoing commitment to delivering cultural experiences deeply rooted in local values while staying relevant within the global fashion landscape.
