Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, August 28, 2025 – PT Sarinah continues to demonstrate its commitment to accelerating the growth of MSMEs through the Sarinah Pandu – Asah, Asih, Asuh Program, which was held at the Santika Hotel, Mataram. This program was attended by 96 SME participants from eight collaborating state-owned enterprises, providing comprehensive assistance to enable business owners to compete in broader markets, both nationally and globally.
The Sarinah Pandu Program is a collaborative effort between Sarinah and eight major state-owned enterprises (SOEs), namely BRI, Angkasa Pura Indonesia, Kimia Farma, Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Taspen, Telkom Indonesia, Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo), and Pelindo. This collaboration aims to be a concrete step in supporting the vision of SOEs to strengthen MSMEs as the pillar of the national economy.
In his remarks, Eddy Eko Cahyono, Deputy Assistant for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), stated that this program represents a strategic step to encourage MSMEs to advance to the next level.
"This program is an initiative that we hope will become an important milestone for moving forward more progressively. We recognize that perfection cannot be achieved immediately; it requires continuous refinement to deliver optimal benefits for MSMEs. We also appreciate the contribution of Sarinah, together with 8 collaborating state-owned enterprises, as well as MSME practitioners who have dedicated their time to participate in this training session. Your presence here reflects our shared commitment to enhancing the capacity of MSMEs so they can compete in a wider market," he stated.
The President Director of PT Sarinah, Raisha Syarfuan, emphasized that this initiative aligns with Sarinah's transformation into a cultural experience center and a leading showcase for curated local products.
“Sarinah is not just a shopping center, but a home for curated local products with high-quality standards. Our mission is to continue empowering businesses rooted in culture, especially MSMEs, as the carriers of national identity. Through Sarinah Pandu, we aim to create MSMEs that are resilient, innovative, and globally competitive. The Asah, Asih, and Asuh approach is our key strategy: sharpening skills, providing personal attention, and nurturing MSMEs until they are truly ready to grow. This partnership with eight state-owned enterprises marks a major step towards achieving the vision of state-owned enterprises as well as the mission of Sarinah," she explained.
During the program, participants received a series of intensive training sessions led by Maria Herijanti, a professional with more than 25 years of experience in commercial management, distribution, marketing strategy, and human resource development.
The training covered essentials for MSMEs today, including business legalities, such as Business Identification Numbers and halal certification, and BPOM registration, followed by an in-depth understanding of digitalization to expand market reach. Participants were also equipped with skills in financial and accounting management, product development and innovation strategies, as well as marketing and branding techniques, ensuring their products would be more competitive in the eyes of consumers.
The participants' enthusiasm was evident throughout the training session. Nurhayati, an MSME entrepreneur, expressed her gratitude for this opportunity.
“This training has broadened my perspective, especially regarding digitalization and branding. Now I understand how my products can become more widely known, not only in Lombok, but also in the national market. Thank you, Sarinah and BUMN, for facilitating this for us,” she said enthusiastically.
With a comprehensive training concept and full support from various parties, the Sarinah Pandu Program in Lombok aims to become a catalyst for MSMEs to continue innovating, upgrading, and competing in the global market.
