The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, KH Ma'ruf Amin, officially opened the 2019 Interfaith Walk event organized by the Nasaruddin Umar Office (NUO) on 17 November 2019 at the Sarinah Parking Area, Thamrin.
The theme of this event is "Cultivating Tolerance Caring for Diversity". The 2019 Interfaith Walk is a form of peace campaign in maintaining religious harmony. Apart from taking a leisurely walk, there were also agendas such as talk shows with religious leaders, entertainment, and the distribution of door prizes for event participants. It is hoped that this event can be held throughout Indonesia so that the Indonesian people have diverse tolerance for each other.
