The Sarinah Peduli initiative held in Malang aims to improve the community’s quality of life by focusing on two priority areas: education and the environment. The program features three main activities, InJourney Peduli Literasi with the theme “Learning and Playing with Sarinah,” Sarinah Peduli Sarana Kebersihan (Cleanliness Facilities Assistance), and Sarinah Peduli Sarana Ibadah (Worship Facilities Assistance). Through these initiatives, Sarinah distributed various forms of support to the communities surrounding the Sarinah Basuki Rahmat Malang store.

In its implementation, the InJourney Peduli Literasi program, “Learning and Playing with Sarinah,” was realized through the provision of library facilities and infrastructure at SD Islam Klojen Kidul. In addition, Sarinah Peduli Sarana Kebersihan provided cleaning equipment to SD Negeri Kauman 3 to support a healthy and comfortable learning environment. Meanwhile, Sarinah Peduli Sarana Ibadah extended assistance to Musholla Al-Furqon and the Pentecostal Church of Central Surabaya, “Elim” Congregation in Malang, in the form of worship equipment, as a gesture of care for the community’s social and spiritual well-being.

President Director of PT Sarinah, Raisha Syarfuan, emphasized that this social initiative reflects the humanitarian values that Sarinah firmly upholds.

In addition to the handover of assistance, the event also featured interactions with students and community representatives, a symbolic handover ceremony, and a group photo session. One of the beneficiaries of Sarinah Peduli also expressed appreciation for Sarinah’s care and support.
